AR5000 - IF-Bandwidth

To get an idea of the shape of the various if-filters white noise was fed to the antenna socket of the AR5000. The USB-mode was selected and the detector output (socket ACC 1) was connected to the computers soundcard. A FFT-software (Spectrogram from Richard Horne) has analyzed the signal and displayed the result in the frequency domain. With this method I was able to study the if-filters with bandwidths less than 24 kHz:

3 kHz Filter position: 2,7 kHz / -6 dB 3,0 kHz / -30 dB
